The Aeotec Range Extender 7 is a simple plug-and-play device that perfects your home automation system. The smart device receives signals from Z-Wave and Z-Wave Plus, amplifies them, and sends them back to your Z-Wave automation network to increase range and reliability.

The extender combines Aeotec's unique Gen7 technology with Z-Wave Plus V2 and the 700 series. This allows you to make a variety of improvements, including S2 security and SmartStart installation. Thanks to Gen7 technology, the smart device guarantees wireless performance of up to 250% more range. It also responds up to 50% faster than other non-Gen7 technologies. The Aeotec Range Extender 7 is compatible with many certified Z-Wave gateways.

Simply plug the extender into a power outlet, connect it to your Z-Wave network, and it will automatically begin improving any weak Z-Wave signals that are within range.
